Victoria Foanio teamed with
Alyssa Sell for an 8-1 victory at first doubles.
Melissa Carberry and
Christina Peacock swept their second doubles match 8-0, as did
Brooke Ronney and
Erin Sullivan at third doubles.
The rain started coming down late in the opening sets of singles matches. The Lions were able to secure a trio of 6-0, 6-0 sweeps, with the other three matches abandoned.
Foanio defeated
Kaitlyn Brock at first singles, while Ronney shut out
Megan Reinprecht in the second spot. Sell (third singles) also won 6-0, 6-0.
Albright improves to 12-5 and will conclude its regular season tomorrow at Hood. The Lions have qualified for the Commonwealth Conference playoffs and will find out their opponent after tomorrow's results are finalized.
