Gabby Frake made 13 saves for the Albright College field hockey team, but the Lions dropped their season opener to Susquehanna 4-0 on Friday in the opening round of the Connie Harnum Classic.
Emily Novakovich and Katherine Millett each scored a pair of goals for Susquehanna to pace the offensive attack. The Crusaders racked up 26 shots on the afternoon, while limiting Albright to just one shot.
Amanda Smith had the only shot on goal for Albright, which came in the second period.
Susquehanna scored all four of its goals in the first period and held a 16-0 advantage in shots.
Albright will face St. John Fisher at 1 p.m. in the consolation game of the Connie Harnum Classic on Saturday.
