READING, Pa. -- Sophomore
Cheyenne Robinett recorded a career-high 11 kills, but the Albright volleyball team lost to Dickinson 25-20, 25-22, 20-25, 25-18 on Thursday night in a non-conference match in the Bollman Center.
Robinett surpassed her previous career high of six kills, which she had earlier this season in the Lions victory over Alvernia. She posted a .304 attack percentage to go along with her 11 kills.
Senior
Marisa Bartone also had a solid match for the Lions as she recorded nine kills, six digs, a service ace, a block and a .226 attack percentage. Brandly Blimline added seven kills, eight digs and four assists.
Freshman
Claudia Guise had 29 assists and two blocks, while
Caitlin Klotzbach added 20 digs, three service aces and three assists.
Lauren Beecher led four Dickinson players in double figures in kills with 13, while Gillian Chan and Emily Smith had 12 and Norma Jean Park added 10 kills. The Red Devils also received 16 digs from Arielle Misrok and 13 digs from Rachel Smolskis.
Albright dropped to 3-8 overall on the season, while Dickinson improved to 3-6 for the year.
