Kellie Hill had nine kills and posted a .450 attack percentage, but the Albright College volleyball team lost to Arcadia 25-11, 25-20, 20-25, 25-16 in a Commonwealth Conference match on Tuesday in the Bollman Center.
Hill had nine kills in 20 attempts with no attack errors to lead the Lions with her .450 percentage.
Brandy Blimline added eight kills and 12 digs and
Jordan Gibson had four kills and eight digs.
Arcadia, which ran its record to 8-4 overall and 2-2 in the Commonwealth, was led by Natalie Cadmus who had 17 kills and seven digs. Colleen Stengel added seven kills, while setter Alexia Bell had 37 assists and 17 digs.
The Knights racked up 15 service aces on the evening and hit .115 for the match, while limiting Albright to an .016 attack percentage.
Albright, which dropped to 5-12 overall and 1-3 in conference play, bounced back to win the third set 25-20 after dropping the first two sets. The fourth set was back and forth until a late run by the Knights clinced the set and the match.
Albright also received 17 digs from
Caitlin Klotzbach and 23 assists from
Claudia Guise.
