MIDDLETOWN, Pa. --
Karis Pennington scored a goal for the second consecutive match, but the Albright women's soccer team dropped a 3-2 road decision to Penn State-Harrisburg on Saturday.
Pennington, who scored a goal in the Lions victory over Immaculata, tallied her second goal of the season with 3:37 to play in the match which brought Albright to within 3-2.
Pennington led the Lions with five shots of which four were on goal.
Megan O'Brien had three shots for Albright, while
Emily Diaz,
Crissy Terraces,
Natalie Wilson and
Emily Saxon each had two shots.
Albright dominated in the shot category by piling up 20 shots, but Mackenzie Gates made 12 saves in goal for Penn State-Harrisburg.
Penn State-Harrisburg held a 1-0 advantage at halftime and extended the lead to 2-0 on a goal by Morgan Gates in the second half.
Albright trimmed the lead to 2-1 on an own goal, but Alyssa Crowley scored her second goal of the match with 16:41 to play to extend the lead to 3-1.
With the win Penn State-Harrisburg improved to 1-1 on the season, while Albright dropped to 1-3 overall.
