Peter Bockarie and
Lawrence Pierre each scored goals, but the Albright men's soccer team lost to Stevenson 3-2 in a MAC Commonwealth match on Tuesday at Mustang Stadium.
The Mustangs used a penalty kick with 5:27 to play in the second period to break a 2-2 deadlock. Reid Hawkins converted the penalty kick for the Mustangs after Albright was whistled for a foul.
Albright ended a six match streak without a goal by tallying a pair of goals on Tuesday against the Mustangs.
Stevenson, which improved to 5-9-1 overall and 2-3 in conference play, scored just 4:40 into the match when Thomas Taylor scored off an assist from Zachary Martin to give the Mustangs a 1-0 lead.
Albright then ended its scoreless streak when Bockarie converted from 30 yards out to tie the match at 1-1 at the 5:04 mark of the first period.
Stevenson went back in front at the 20:20 mark when Martin scored unassisted when he lofted the ball past
Austin Aldinger.
The Lions fought back to tie the match in the second period. Pierre scored his team-leading third goal of the season at the 62:24 mark off an assist from Bockarie.
The Mustangs then scored off the penalty kick to claim the victory over the Lions.
Albright dropped to 1-13-1 overall and 0-6 in MAC Commonwealth play.
Albright will return to Shirk Stadium for its final home match of the 2015 season on Saturday at 8 p.m. against Messiah.
