Ryan Turner scored three goals and the Albright men's lacrosse team cruised to a 15-2 Commonwealth Conference victory over Hood on Saturday on Senior Day at Don Thomas Stadium.

Mike Southwick and Turner all made their final Albright appearances in the home white uniforms on Saturday.
With the victory, Albright improved to 6-2 in the Commonwealth Conference and secured the No. 3 seed in the upcoming Commonwealth Tournament. The Lions will face No. 2 seed Messiah on Wednesday (April 29) at 4 p.m.
After a slow start, Turner got the Lions on the board with 6:51 to play in the first on a goal off a feed from
James Egleston.
Holston increased the lead to 2-0 when he scored a man-up goal at the 4:16 mark of the first period.
Matthew Lomady capped the first-period scoring when he added his ninth goal of the season at the 1:30 mark of the period to increase the Albright lead to 3-0.
The Lions would blow the game open with a five-goal second period.
Turner started the second-period scoring when he found the back of the net off a helper from
Philip Potter just 10 seconds into the second period.
Andrew Potter tallied his ninth goal of the season off a feed from
Derek Stump to increase the Albright lead to 5-0 with 11:18 to play in the second.
Holston registered his second goal of the game, and his 37
th of the season, to up the Albright lead to 7-0 at the 6:05 mark.
Holston then fed Egleston for a goal with 2:46 left before the intermission giving the Lions an 8-0 lead at the break.
Hood got on the board at the 10:53 mark of the third period when Jack Zuckerberg scored his second goal of the season.
Egleston answered that goal with a marker with 10:01 to play in the third that increased the Albright lead to 9-1.
Ryan Eber found the back of the net with 56 seconds remaining in the period to increase the Lions margin to 10-1.

Cam Cetrone,
Philip Potter, McCabe and Grant all scored fourth-period goals for the Lions.
Nicholas Pisko made five saves in goal for Albright and improved his record to 13-3 on the season. Mitchell relieved Pisko and made three saves and picked up two ground balls in his nine minutes of action.
Albright improved to 13-3 on the season, while Hood fell to 6-10 overall and finished conference season with a 2-6 mark.
