HARRISBURG, Pa. -- Junior
Brooke Ronney won at No. 1 singles and No. 2 doubles, but the Albright women's tennis team lost to Penn State Harrisburg 5-4 in the Lions season opener on Tuesday.
Ronney crusided to a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Nandita Manindra at No. 1 singles and teamed with Shannon McNerney to defeat Shawna Brandt and Alexandria Ownes 8-1 at No. 2 doubles.
Albright also received a singles win from
Devon Rubin who topped Carly Elias 6-2, 6-1 at No. 6 singles.
The Lions No. 3 doubles team of Rubin and Shannon Hickman defeated Aiba Diaby and Carly Elias 8-1.
