CARLISLE, Pa. -- Albright sophomore
Claudia Guise tied her season high with 13 digs, but the Lions fell to Dickinson 25-18, 25-15, 25-17 in a non-conference match on Wednesday in the Kline Center.
Guise, who also had 13 digs versus Montclair State, also added 16 assists in directing the Albright offensive attack.
Maddy Greth led Albright with five kills, while
Cheyenne Robinett added four kills for the Lions.
Kellie Hill finished with three kills, while
Victoria Wainwright and Guise finished with two kills each.
Dickinson was led by the record-setting performance of Arielle Misrok. Misrok broke the Red Devils school record by recording 10 service aces. She also had 14 digs and an assist.
Led by Misrok, Dickinson posted 16 service aces for the match.
Norma Jean Park had 10 kills to lead the Red Devils, while Emily Smith had seven kills and Erin Bongo and Lauren Beecher each added six kills.
Dickinson improved to 4-7 overall, while Albright dropped to 3-5 on the season.
Albright will return to MAC Commonwealth play on Sept. 23 when it visits Hood for a 7 p.m. match.
