ABINGTON, Pa. -- Albright junior
Brooke Ronney posted victories in singles and doubles, but the Lions dropped a 7-2 decision to Penn State Abington on Saturday afternoon.
Ronney was victorious at No. 1 singles and also paired with
Erin Sullivan to notch a win at No. 1 doubles.
She defeated Gabby Eberhardt 6-1, 6-1, and paired with Sullivan to record an 8-3 win over Eberhardt and Sheena Philip at No. 1 doubles.
Sullivan lost a hard-fought battle at No. 2 singles to Amanda Shulski as Shulski prevailed 6-4, 3-6, 11-9.
Albright dropped to 0-2 on the season, while Penn State Abington improved to 3-0.
