Brooke Ronney combined to record a victory at No. 1 doubles, but the Albright women's tennis team lost to Alvernia 8-1 on Wednesday in MAC Commonwealth play at Angelica Park.
Sullivan and Ronney combined to defeat Cassandra Noray and Amanda Phillips 8-6 at No. 1 doubles, but that would be the only win the Lions could muster.
Julia Devine dropped a close 7-5, 6-3 decision at No. 5 singles to Xena Sperrazza.
