READING, Pa. – The Albright women's tennis team dropped a 5-4 decision to Penn State Berks on Thursday. Mara Trifoli and
Brooke Ronney each earned a singles victory while teaming up for a doubles win.
Trifoli won in the number one position over Caroline Bashore (6-1, 6-1). Ronney won as the number two over Kianna Anderson (6-1, 6-0). The pair of Lions won over Bashore and Laura Youwakim (8-5).
Melanie Amato earned the other victory for Albright, defeating Lucrezia Pulcini (7-5, 6-4).
Albright next plays at Messiah on Saturday.
