READING, Pa.- Mara Trifoi and
Brooke Ronney each notched singles victories and teamed up for a doubles win as the Albright women's tennis team fell to Lebanon Valley Wednesday afternoon.
Trifoi and Ronney teamed up in the first doubles match of the afternoon to defeat their opponents 8-4. Lebanon Valley took the remaining two doubles matches.
Trifoi continued to roll in her singles match, where she defeated her opponent (6-1, 6-0). Ronney also continued her hot afternoon with a (6-2, 6-1) victory in her singles match. The Dutchmen took the final four singles matches to go out on top with an overall score of 6-3.
Women's tennis returns to action on Saturday when they host Alvernia. Scheduled start time is 1 p.m.
