READING, Pa. – Mara Trifoi earned victories in both individual and doubles matches, but it was not enough as Albright fell to Alvernia 5-3 on Thursday afternoon.

Albright received wins from its top two positions in singles competition. Trifoi defeated Cassandra Noray (7-6, 7-1) in the first singles spot, and in the second singles position, Brooke Ronney defeated Amanda Phillips (7-5, 6-2).

Trifoi and Ronney teamed up in doubles competition where they battled and defeated Noray and Phillips 8-5.

???????Alvernia won the third through fifth singles matches as well as the second and third doubles matches to earn the victory.

The Albright women's tennis team wraps up its regular season on Saturday at Hood at 1 p.m.
