ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Albright baseball team got some revenge on Lebanon Valley in the Lions' season-ending doubleheader on Saturday afternoon. In the opening game of the series on Friday at Albright, the Dutchmen scored five runs in its final at-bat to overtake the Lions in the 11th hour. Albright turned the tables in game one, scoring all five of its runs in its last at-bat to grab a 5-4 victory. The Lions came back in game two with a 3-2 victory.
Heading into their last at-bat in the top of the seventh of game one, the Lions had no runs on just three hits while trailing, 4-0. That all changed in that last at-bat. 
Jimmie Gentry led off by reaching on an error. After an out, 
Logan Adams walked and 
Logan Pennypacker reached on an infield hit. 
Nathan Fretz moved everyone up one station with a run-scoring single to make it 4-1.
After a second out, 
Jeff Yordy came up representing the last hope for the Lions. He doubled down the left field line to clear the bases. That tied the score at 4-4. The inning wasn't over. 
Tanner Brescancine singled up the middle to score Yordy. That made it 5-4 Albright. That leadoff error, along with four hits and a walk, helped the Lions to five unearned runs in the frame.
Lebanon Valley put two runners on in the bottom of the seventh, but Adams stopped the rally with a strikeout and a fly out to end it.
Fretz and Pennypacker each had two hits to lead the Lions offense.
In game two, the Lions didn't wait for their last at-bat to get on the board. It came in the first inning, this time.  Yordy doubled with two outs, and Brescancine drove him in with a single to right. The score stayed 1-0 until the top of the fourth. 
Noah Beebe singled and moved to second on an error. A groundout pushed him to third, and he later scored on a wild pitch to double the lead to 2-0.
Lebanon Valley used a leadoff double to get a run in bottom of the fifth, but the Lions responded in the sixth with another run of their own. Brescancine led off with a walk, and he scored with two outs on a base hit by 
Tyler Keller to make it 3-1. Keller led the offense with two hits.
Lebanon Valley made things interesting in the seventh. A two-out single cut its deficit to 3-2. A wild pitch followed to put the tying run in scoring position. With the prospect of extra innings staring the Lions in the eye, Adams got a ground out to end the game and to end the Lions' season with a doubleheader sweep.
Adams picked up saves in each end of the doubleheader for his first two of the season. 
Matt Fisher pitched well in game two, earning the victory after allowing just a run on six hits in five innings.
