SCRANTON, Pa. – Behind a goal from Crissy Terraces in the 58th minute of play, the Albright women's soccer team tallied a 1-0 win in their season opener on the road against Marywood in non-conference action.

The Lions have now won two of their last three season openers after dropping last their opener last season.

Albright controlled play early by tallying two shots that went on target, while surviving a Pacer shot off the crossbar in the 22nd minute. Each team tallied six shots on net in the first half with Marywood holding a 3-2 edge on shots on goal.

Teraces tallied the only goal in the game in the 58th minute on a header after a friendly bounce. Daniella LoBue and Emily Mollica picked up assists on the goal for the Lions. Albright would eventually hold off the Pacers despite a couple of good scoring chances, including a shot that went off the crossbar again in the 81st minute.
