READING, Pa. – Erin Vander Plaat scored with 2:09 remaining in the first overtime period and the Albright Lions women's soccer team (8-3-1, 2-2 MACC) dropped a 3-2 overtime heartbreaker to Arcadia (9-2-2, 4-0 MACC) in MAC Commonwealth action on Wednesday night at Shirk Stadium.

The Knights grabbed a 1-0 lead in the 13
th minute as Garcia got behind Tunney on a ball over the top and tapped the shot into an open net. Senior

Autumn Bieber. The goal for Bross was her first since Nov. 12, 2016 vs. Neumann.
In the first minute of the second half, Lutz had a penalty kick denied via a diving save from Arcadia goalie Brianna Williams. Garcia would strike with her second goal of the game less than five minutes later to give the Knights a 2-1 lead for the time being.
Arcadia held a 14-5 edge in shots and a 7-4 advantage in shots on target. Lutz paced the Lions with two shots, while Garcia had six to lead the Knights.
Tunney collected four saves for Albright and Williams had a pair for Arcadia.
The Lions are back in action on Tuesday, Oct. 16 when Stevenson comes to Shirk Stadium for a MAC Commonwealth tilt at 7 p.m.
