GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Albright men's basketball team hung with the first place team in the MAC Commonwealth for the majority of the night before ultimately succumbing to a 77-69 loss to Arcadia on Wednesday night.

Albright started fast as they quickly jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first 1:34 of the game, and eventually worked its way out to an 11-5 advantage at the 16:06-mark after going 5-of-6 from the field during that span. After the Lions went up 14-8, the Knights scored 14 unanswered points to take their first lead of the game at 22-14 with 10:04 left in the first half. Lane then broke a drought of 6:17 without a field goal for the Lions with a three-pointer, and would bring the Lions within four points at 64-60 on a three-pointer with 3:53 left in the second half. Unfortunately for the Lions, that would be as close as they would get for the rest of the game as the Knights went 12-of-13 from the free throw line down the stretch to seal the game.
