GALLOWAY, N.J. – The Albright Lions baseball team (1-4) was swept by Stockton (4-0) in a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon at the Stockton Baseball Field.
Stockton took game one by a 3-0 score and won game two by a 6-0 count.
Game One
The game was scoreless until the bottom of the fourth when the Ospreys started the inning with consecutive singles followed by a double steal and John Perrino's two-run single put the hosts on the board.
Albright had a chance with runners at second and third and two outs in the fifth, but Stockton starter Ray Hughes got
Jimmie Gentry looking at strike three to end the frame. In the home half of the frame, the Ospreys' Austin Slinger came through with an RBI single to extend the lead to 3-0.
Junior
Will Tokarski was dealt the loss for the Lions after allowing three runs on eight hits to go along with two walks and three strikeouts in 4 2/3 IP. Freshman RHP
Willie Kimmel III retired all four batters he faced in relief for the Lions. Hughes struck out 11 and allowed three hits over five scoreless innings to get the win for Stockton, while Tyler Apt notched the final six outs to record the save.
Kimmel has now begun his college career with 4 1/3 scoreless IP after tossing three shutout frames on Feb. 23 at Scranton.

Alex Stump all collected hits in the contest for the Lions.
Game Two
Stockton grabbed an early 1-0 lead in the nightcap as Rico Viani reached on an error with two outs in the home half of the first and scored on Joe Pipher's RBI double.
In the top of the fourth,
Jeff Yordy doubled and
Joe Suppa drew a walk for the Lions to start the frame and the visitors had two men on with one away, but Stockton's James Manos got a flyout and a popout to work his way out of the jam. The Ospreys broke the game open with three runs in the bottom half of the inning including an RBI single from Brendan Doherty.
Junior
Nick Dinnocenti got the start for Albright and surrendered four runs (two earned) on six hits to go along with a walk and four strikeouts in four innings of work. Manos tossed five shutout frames and fanned four for Stockton.
Sophomore lefty
Kyle Smith retired the side in order in a scoreless inning of relief for the Lions and junior
Logan Pennypacker had a pair of hits to lead the way offensively. Pennypacker has now hit safely in four of his first five games this season including three multi-hit games.
The Lions return home to host Elizabethtown in non-conference action on Tuesday, March 12. First pitch from Kelchner Field is set for 3:30 p.m.
