The Lions opened the game by scoring the first five points of the game to take a 5-0 lead just 1:42 into the game, but the Golden Wolves quickly came back with five-straight points of their own in just under a minute to tie the game. Albright stretched its lead out to 13-9 at the 14:17-mark behind six points from Harris before extending its lead out to 20-13 at the 11:56-mark following a three-pointer from Majekodunmi. Brown scored five quick points for the Lions to cut the Alvernia lead down to 35-33 with 2:29 left in the first half.
