Oregon State Takes Down Overwatch, 3-0

READING, Pa. – The Albright Esports Overwatch team fell 3-0 to Oregon State on Monday night in its first match of the 2021 portion of the schedule.

The Lions will open the spring semester 0-1 and fall to 3-7 overall in the 2020-21 season.

The Beavers jumped on the Lions early in the first match to take a 1-0 lead. Albright challenged Oregon State throughout the second match before ultimately suffering defeat. The Beavers held control and used the momentum from the first two games to complete the sweep.  Junior Roy Hughes and senior Xavier Luciano led the way for the Lions in damage per second (DPS), while juniors Francesca Horner and Harrison Bley manned the tanks against the Beavers. First-year Yelisa Quintana, senior Jonathan Craft, and first-year Jacob Frazier provided the support for the team against Oregon State.
