MADISON, N.J. – The Albright women's soccer claimed a hard-fought 1-0 road win over FDU-Florham Wednesday afternoon.
The Lions advance to 3-2-2 overall while the Devils overall record stands at 5-3.

Emily Serpico scored the lone goal of the game off a rebound from a shot from senior
Gabrielle Rhoads in the eighth minute. The Lions held a 1-0 lead entering the half after first-year goalkeeper
McKenna LeVan made two saves to keep the Devils scoreless in the first 45 minutes of action.
The Devils applied pressure in the second half, firing off the next six shots. Senior
Autumn Bieber had an opportunity in the 76
th minute to bring the Lions lead to two with their lone shot on goal of the second half, to which Devils goalkeeper Erica Blackburn put a halt to. FDU-Florham was unable to find the back of the net in 90 minutes of action as Albright claimed the 1-0 victory.
FDU-Florham held a 12-9 shot advantage over Albright, however, the Lions connected seven shots on goal compared to the Devils five. LeVan earns the win for Albright and her fourth consecutive shutout with five saves in 90 minutes of play. Senior goalkeeper Ashley Paulino receives the loss for the Devils despite starting and making four saves in 45 minutes of action.
Albright will host King's Saturday at 7:30 p.m. for their homecoming match.
