CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - The Albright women's soccer team (2-9-4, 1-2-1 MAC Commonwealth) fell on the road today against DeSales University (9-3-2, 3-1 MAC Freedom) in Non-Conference play. The hosts won today's game by a final of 5-0.
Albright and DeSales were locked in a scoreless draw throughout the first 35 minutes of action. Just before halftime, DeSales forward Emma Ribeiro broke the draw sending the Bulldogs into halftime with a 1-0 lead.
DeSales used the momentum brought into halftime into the second half scoring twice within the first 10 minutes pushing their lead to 3-0.
The Bulldogs would go on to add two more late goals to escape with the victory.
For the Lions, Emily Serpico, Caroline Perry and Hannah Tudge registered shots for Albright looking to break through the DeSales defense.
Albright held the corner kick advantage over DeSales, 6-3.
