Reading, PA - The Albright Lions fell to the York Spartans on Wednesday night by a score of 3-0. The Lions fall to 1-7-2 on the season, and 0-2 in conference play, while York improves to 6-32 and 1-1.
The Spartans started the scoring in the 19th minute when Luke Nall found the back of the net. York followed that up quickly with another goal in the 21st minute by Cole Kendra. After the half, they would add a third goal on a long shot from Nall.
York held the shot advantage 17-11, while the Lions had three corners to York's two.
Luigi Costigliola led the Lions with two shots, both of which were on goal.Starting goalie
Cooper Walters made three saves in 67 minutes of play, while
Chris Denholm made a single save in 23 minutes.
