WILLIAMSTOWN, MASS. - The Albright women's basketball team (2-3) fell on the road this afternoon against Eastern Connecticut State (2-2) in the final game of the Williams College Classic. The Warriors won the game 60-49. Despite the loss Gabby Boggs set a new program record for total rebounds in a career.

With five minutes left to play in the third quarter Boggs collected her eighth rebound of the game to break the all time school record for total rebounds in a career. The forward finished today's game with 13 rebounds and now sits number one all time in Albright's history with 1,066 career rebounds.

Eastern Connecticut State jumped out to a 11-2 lead and used the opening run to lead 20-10 after one quarter of play.

With seven minutes to go in the second quarter a Mackenzie Dover layup cut the deficit to eight. After the layup, the Warriors would again find their rhythm and pushed their lead back to nine at halftime.

The Lions would threaten in the third cutting into the Warriors lead only down by six. But, Eastern Connecticut State did a good job of keeping the lions at arms length away to ultimately win the game, 60-49.

In addition to setting a school record, Boggs finished with a game high 17 points. Dover was the other Lion in double figures scoring 11 in the game.

Albright will remain on the road when they travel to Cabrini University on Tuesday, November 22. The game is slated to start at 6 p.m.
