READING, Pa. – The Albright men's tennis team was swept 9-0 at Alvernia in MAC Commonwealth action on Tuesday.
With the loss, the Lions drop to 0-4 in conference and 4-8 overall. Meanwhile, the Golden Wolves improve to 3-3 in conference and 5-4 overall.
Alvernia grasped an early 3-0 advantage after claiming all three singles matches and not allowing Albright to score a single point. The Golden Wolves then continued to dominate throughout the singles matches, grasping all six to solidify their 9-0 conference sweep over the Lions.
Albright will return to action on Saturday as they host Hood in MAC Commonwealth action at 1 p.m.
