READING, Pa. – The Albright women's soccer team (4-11-2, 0-5-1 MAC Commonwealth) went on the road for the final time this season on Wednesday night squaring off against York College (Pa.) (12-5, 6-0 MAC Commonwealth). The Spartans took tonight's match by a final score of 7-0.
Tonight's game was the final road game of the season for Albright.
The Spartans scored twice in the first half to take a 2-0 lead into the locker room.
McKenna LeVan got the start in net and made six saves for the Lions.
LeVan played the first half only tonight bringing her season save total to an impressive 116 saves on the season. LeVan ranks second in the MAC Commonwealth to date in total saves.
York (Pa.) padded their lead in the second half to win tonight's game over Albright.
Emily Sellers registered one shot on goal tonight for the Lions.
