READING, PA. – The Albright College football team (0-10, 0-9 MAC) concluded their season today at home on Senior Day against Lebanon Valley College (6-4, 6-3 MAC). Today marked the 102
nd all time meeting between the two schools with LVC winning this year's installment by a final score of 47-9.
Prior to the start of todays game. The Albright Lions took the time to honor their 24 graduating seniors. The Albright seniors are;

The Dutchmen started fast and never looked back in today's game. LVC scored twice in the opening quarter and once more in the second quarter taking a 21-3 lead into halftime.
The Lions got on the board in the first half on another long field goal from
Dean Severin. Severin drilled a 38-yarder straight through the uprights putting the Lions on the board. The scoring drive was set up after LVC attempted an onside kick but failed to recover the onside.
LVC started with the ball in the second half and put the game away in the third quarter. LVC scored 19 third quarter points to take a commanding 40-3 lead after 45 minutes of play.
Albright's final drive on the season ended on a high note for the Lions. Albright scored a touchdown on the last play of the game on a 1-yard run by
Ryan Bryson. For Bryson, it was his first game action of the year scoring his first career touchdown for Albright.
The touchdown drive was set up by a beautiful pass from Bryson to wideout
Mekhi Nixon. The connection went for 25 yards putting the Lions on the LVC 22-yard line.
Antonio Bargiel kept the drive alive on fourth down with a tough four yard run to give Albright a goal to go situation. From there Bryson was able to punch it over the goal line.
Jarren Rutter started at quarterback today and had a nice game on the ground. Rutter carried the ball nine times for 61 yards.
Noble Thompson and
Joseph Lepore finished second and third on the team in rushing with 40 and 35 yards, respectively.
Javontae Wayman made his final game count as he finished with a career high 14 tackles. Of the 14, nine of them were of the solo variety.
Darien Osmun was second on the team in tackles with seven. Osmun also registered two tackles for loss and one sack.
