The Albright men’s basketball team could not be stopped on the offensive side of the floor today. Albright got contributions from up and down the lineup winning convincingly over FDU-Florham 91-66 on the Lions home floor.

READING, Pa. – The Albright men's basketball team (4-2) was firing on all cylinders this afternoon getting contributions from up and down the lineup against FDU-Florham (3-5) dominating the Devils on Albright's home floor. The Lions took care of business this afternoon winning convincingly 91-66.

In the first game of the year, Albright set a new program record for points in a game with 116 against Penn State Berks.

With today's win, Albright now holds a 13-11 advantage in the all-time head to head matchup series with FDU-Florham.

The game started back and forth with each team making three out of their first four shots. From that point, the Lions completely took over the game on both sides of the floor. Albright used two big first half runs to their advantage going up by as many as 32 points in the opening 20 minutes.

As a team, Albright shot 55% from the field in the first half including making five first half threes.

Runs of 16-4 and another run of 22-9 were instrumental in helping the Lions to a 50-25 lead at halftime. Jeremiah Stanton was fantastic in the first half controlling the floor for the Lions. Stanton scored 10 first half points, dished out five assists and added three rebounds for good measure. Stanton went a perfect 2-2 from beyond the arc in the first half.

The second half was all Albright taking over the game throughout the final 20 minutes. The Lions never allowed FDU-Florham to get back in the game as Albright maintained a 30-point lead over the Devils. A Hasson Massenburg three with 7:52 left in the game put Albright up by 37 and for good at 84-47.

The Lions were able to close out the Devils over the final eight minutes of the game to complete the dominating performance winning 91-66.

Albright finished the game with five players scoring in double figures. Eric Chamberlain scored 18 points, Stanton and Qadir Mitchell each had 13, Chris Kouemi scored 12 and Isaac LaPierre finished with 10.

Chamberlain came into the game as the leading points per game scorer in the MAC Commonwealth averaging 19.6 points per game and finished right around the number today. Stanton flirted with a triple and double-double ending the game with 13 points nine assists and seven rebounds while going a perfect 3-3 from beyond the arc.
