ASTON, PA. - The Albright College baseball team (3-15, 1-9 MAC Commonwealth) was in action for the second of four total games this week squaring off against Neumann (7-12) in non conference action. Neumann edged out Albright in a back and forth game winning 5-4.
The Lions got on the board first in the second inning taking a 1-0 lead. Domenic Borelli and Eddie Meredith started the inning with back to back walks. Ethan Karel was next and laid down a sacrifice bunt which ultimately allowed Borelli to score from third on a wild pitch.
Albright trailed 3-2 heading into the top of the sixth but would plate two runs in the away half of the inning. Roman Berretta led off with a walk and advanced to second on a groundout. After an Meredith RBI single, Karel knocked home the Lions fourth run on a double to left field.
Neumann tied the game in the home half of the sixth and scored again in the bottom of the eight to steal a win over Albright 5-4.
Meredith went 2-3 on the day with an RBI and a run scored. Karel, Patrick Healy and Nick Barton all doubled and Zander Tesoriere went 1-3 with a walk.

Albright will welcome Lebanon Valley College to town tomorrow, March 31, for the opening game of the weekend series with the Dutchmen. Tomorrow's game will start at 3:30 p.m.
