READING, Pa. - The Albright College women's tennis team (3-2, 0-1 MAC Commonwealth Spring Season) bounced back nicely on Sunday afternoon finishing the week at 1-1. Albright took today's match over Immaculata (1-6 Spring Season) 5-4.
Alex Pancu remains perfect in the 2023 spring season picking up another victory in her singles match this afternoon. Pancu did not drop a game winning 6-0, 6-0 and is now 5-0 in the spring in singles matches.
Megan Colaneri picked up a point for Albright in the singles number four match. Colaneri handled her opponent, winning the match, 7-5, 6-2.
Megan Misurelli took home the win in her singles match playing in a three set marathon. Misurelli dropped the first set 2-6 but battled and won in the second set 7-5 to even the match at 1-1. In the third set tiebreak Misurelli doubled up her opponent winning 10-5.
Albright went 2-1 in doubles matches on the afternoon. Pancu and Michelle Timothy won a tightly contested match 8-5 and Colaneri and Macie Littleton won their match in a tiebreak 8-7 (7-2).
