Men’s Lacrosse Falls To Stevenson on the Road

The Albright men’s lacrosse went on the road on Wednesday evening and dropped a road match with Perennial MAC Commonwealth power Stevenson.

OWINGS MILLS, Md. - The Albright men's lacrosse team (3-9, 1-2 MAC Commonwealth) traveled across state lines to Maryland on Wednesday evening squaring off against Stevenson University (5-6, 2-0 MAC Commonwealth). The Mustangs won on their home field by a final of 32-5.

The Mustangs found their rhythm early scoring 13 goals in the first period and taking a 20-1 lead into halftime.

Jack Burke's first half goal was his 33rd at the time and came on a man up opportunity. Burke scored twice more in the game bringing his season total to 35 goals on the season. With another three goals tonight, Burke now has five games this year where he has scored three or more goals in a single game.

Stevenson scored eight in the third period and won going away over Albright 32-5.

Lucas Roselli and Jay Shifflet scored this evening for the Lions. For Roselli it was his 32nd goal of the year and for Shifflet it was his 33rd goal of the year. Shifflet was also credited with an assist in tonight's game.


Up Next:
Albright will wrap up their three game road trip on Wednesday, April 12 heading to Widener University. The game is set for a 7 p.m. start time.
