LEBANON, Pa. – Men's golf teed it up in their final tournament of the 2024 fall season competing at the LVC Invitational. The Lions took 7
th out of 18 total teams in the field playing 18 holes today at Lebanon Country Club. The course measured at 6562 yards and a par of 72.
Last week, the Albright men's golf program entered the top 100 of the Division III National Golf rankings. The Lions are ranked 99
th out of 271 total division III men's golf teams. Additionally, Albright is ranked 7
th in Region III out of a total of 38 Division III, Region III men's golf programs. The full Division III rankings can be found

A total of 18 teams were in today's field equaling a total of 99 players. Pitt-Greensburg won the tournament with a team score of 305. University of Scranton finished second with a 307 and Catholic University third with a team score of 315.
Albright was one of nine teams in the field from the MAC Commonwealth and MAC Freedom. Albright finished first among the conference teams with a score of 323. The closest team to Albright in the conference was Hood college (10
th) shooting a 332.
Charles Bailey led the Lions effort this afternoon earning a top 20 finish with a round of 78. Bailey caught fire on the back nine finding three birdies in his final nine holes. The sophomore Lion birdied one par five, four and three on the back nine using all the clubs in his bag effectively.
Oliver Liljeblad took home a T30 finish with a round of 81. Liljeblad found pars on five straight holes from 6-10 while later recording a birdie on hole 16.
Chris DiRita and
Sam Elsen both tallied rounds of 82. The Lion duo finished T34 overall in the large field. Elsen found a birdie on the par three 12
th hole highlighting his round.
Ethan Beidler fared well in his round today shooting an 89. Beidler birdied the par five 7
th hole and got better as the round went on playing the back nine five strokes better than the front.

Albright will play Alvernia in the annual Yocum Cup taking place on October 28 & 29. Day one of the Yocum Cup is hosted by Albright and will be played at Berkshire CC. Day two of the Yocum Cup is hosted by Alvernia and will be played at LedgeRock Golf Club.
