READING, Pa. – Women's Soccer (2-10-2, 0-3 MAC Commonwealth) hosted their second MAC Commonwealth conference game against Hood (3-6-7, 1-1-1 MAC Commonwealth). Following a physical 90 minutes of play, the Blazers would wind up leaving with a 2-0 win
Mackenzie Sowers led the way for the Lions offensive effort with a pair of shots on goal.
Also joining Sowers in multiple shots was
Audrey Solt who also recorded two in the back-and-forth defensive affair.
The Blazers started the scoring with a goal in the 34
th minute of play before the first half ended with a 1-0 score.
McKenna Levan started in goal and recorded five saves to go along with numerous clutch grabs to breakup additional Blazers scoring chances.

Sarah Chernis and
Kaidence Weidenhammer also found their way into the shots category in a strong passing effort from the Lions.
A second Blazers goal in the 65
th minute would be the final goal scored on the night in which the Blazers left with a 2-0 win.
