READING, Pa. – Men's Tennis (4-2) wrapped up their 2024 fall season in style today beating Misericordia 7-0 on the Lions home courts.
Albright and Misericordia matched up in the last two seasons with Albright winning both matchups. The Lions outscored the Cougars 16-0 in the last two head to head matches.
Adam Good won his final number one singles match of the fall season winning 6-0, 6-2. The first set 6-0 sweep is the third time this fall Good has swept a set.
Xavier Vinson wrapped up his first collegiate season with a perfect 5-0 individual record. Vinson won 6-2, 6-0 for his second straight sets win of the fall in number two singles.
Dylan Huha played in number three singles for the third time this fall and improved to 3-0 in number three singles. Huha won in straight sets 6-0, 6-0 to move to 4-2 overall in singles matches.
Gerardo Sanchez was slotted into number four singles and won his match 6-1, 6-1. The senior Lion went a perfect 2-0 playing as the number four singles player.
Kobe Serpa entered the lineup this afternoon and won his match 6-1, 6-3 in number five singles.
Dominic Perch played in his first collegiate singles match this afternoon and handled his opponent with ease winning 6-1, 6-0.
Gavin Buckley and
Clay Lewandowski won number two doubles 6-2.
Timo Weber and
Hugh Crawford were locked in a tight battle in number three doubles but prevailed in the end winning 7-5 to secure the team doubles point for Albright.
