DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – The Albright Women's Soccer team (1-7-2, 0-1 MAC Commonwealth) recorded their second draw of the season in a low scoring affair with Delaware Valley (2-9-1, 0-1). Each half would feature only one goal as the Lions and Aggies ended with a 1-1 tie.
Audrey Solt accounted for the lone Lions goal in the 12
th minute of play to give the team a 1-0 lead. The goal came off a free kick from roughly 45 yards out that beat the keeper in the air. Solt finished with a pair of shots on goal to go along with her second goal of the season.
Joining Solt in recording multiple shots was First-Year
Daiveni Fisher who had two of her own.
Mackenzie Sowers and
Kelly Griffin also recorded shots in an effort to jumpstart the Lions offense.
The Aggies would go on to tie the game in the 67
th minute after being shutout in the first half in what turned out to be a strong performance from the Lions defense.
McKenna LeVan turned in another strong performance and recorded seven saves to shut down the Aggies offense and maintain a 1.65 GA/AVG on the season.
