READING, Pa. – Men's indoor track and field was in action for the second straight day on Saturday afternoon at the "Rust Buster" hosted by Alvernia. Beyah Rembert Jr. led the charge for the Lions earning a second-place finish in the 60m dash.
Rembert Jr. turned in one of his best times as an Albright Lion this afternoon in the 60m dash. Rembert finished the race in 7.26 shaving .15 seconds off his qualifying time in the finals.
The day was not over for Rembert has he earned another top five finish in the 200. In the 200, Rembert took 4
th with a time of 23.90 rounding out his impressive day on the track.
The 800m race featured all student-athletes from Albright.
Dante Zamichieli was 1
st with a time of 2:10.57,
Chris Alvarado who ran unattached finished 2
nd with a time of 2:24.78,
Jordan Patton took 3
rd with a time of 2:34.16 and
Chade Polen rounded out the event taking 4
th with a time of 2:34.21.
Charles McClain and Fabio Ruffin were in action in the 60m hurdles turning in times of 9.94 and 11.49, respectively.
Albright's 4x200 relay team of Greg Hammond,
Bryam Ramirez, Rembert and Ruffin took 2
nd overall with a strong time of 1:39.99.

Albright will be off until the new year when the team heads back to Alvernia for their Winter Invite. The meet will start at 10:00 a.m. on January 18.
