READING, Pa. – The Albright men's tennis team picked up their first win of the '24 spring season in their first match of the '24 spring season. The Lions hosted Penn State Abington and won today's match 8-1.
Due to inclement weather, the match was forced inside and was played at the John. Scholl LifeSports Center. Due to playing inside the match was played on a modified basis as only one set was played in each match. The matches were the best of eight games.
Picking up wins today in their singles matches was
Adam Good,
Gerardo Sanchez,
Dylan Huha Clay Lewandowski and
Gavin Buckley. Lewandowski and Buckley's matches were played as the first two six games.
The group of five combined to go 36-11 across the five matches played in singles.
Albright swept the doubles matches by wining a combined 24-6. Bryan and Sanchez won 8-1 in #1 doubles play, Good and Lewandowski won 8-0 in #2 doubles play and Huha and Serpa won 8-5 in #3 doubles play.

Albright will head on the road to Dickinson on Wednesday, March 7. The match is set for a 4 p.m. start time.
