CARLISLE, Pa. – The Albright men's tennis team (1-1 Spring '24) made the hour drive to square off against Dickinson College (1-0 Spring '24) for a non-conference tennis match this afternoon. Dickinson got the better of the Lions this afternoon taking the match 9-0.
Today marked the second match of the spring season for the Lions. Albright opened up the spring season with a dominating 8-1 win over Penn State Abington at home.
On Tuesday (Mar. 5) of this week,
Gerardo Sanchez was named MAC Commonwealth men's tennis player of the week for his performance against Penn State Abington. Sanchez went a perfect 2-0 in the match winning his singles match and doubles match by a combined score of 16-3.
Dylan Huha looked to get the Lions on the board during #4 singles play. Huha dropped the first set but battled back in the second set to force a third set tiebreak. In the tiebreak, Huha and Chow (Dickinson) were neck and neck throughout but Chow came out on top 10-6.

The Albright men's tennis team will return to action next Wednesday, March 20 on the road against Lebanon Valley. The match is set for a 4:00 p.m. start from Annville.
