Women’s Lacrosse Drops Road Game to Messiah

The Albright women’s lacrosse team played in their second straight road game in MAC Commonwealth play at Messiah. The Falcons won today 19-1.

GRANTHAM, Pa. – The Albright women's lacrosse team (1-12, 0-3 MAC Commonwealth) have played two straight road games in their first three MAC Commonwealth games matching up against the Messiah Falcons (5-8, 3-0 MAC Commonwealth) this afternoon. Messiah took today's game 19-1 over the Lions.

Today's game marked the second straight road game to start the MAC Commonwealth schedule for the Lions.

Messiah started quick scoring 13 goals in the first 30 minutes of play.

Brianna Kung scored Albright's goal on the day while also recording three total shots. Kung has eight total goals this season. The goal today was the first for Kung during conference play this season.

Anna Bien looked to spark the Lions offensively firing two shots both of which were on goal. Bein added two ground balls to her overall stat line for the Lions.

Kayte Moist fired two shots while collecting a ground ball. Additionally, four different Lions recorded at least one shot in today's game.

Katelyn Patrick recorded two ground balls and two caused turnovers while Olivia Ball tallied three caused turnovers and a ground ball.

Kaila Clark was credited with two caused turnovers and a ground ball.
 
Up Next:
The Lions will return home for their next game hosting Hood College on Wednesday, April 13. The game is set for a 4 p.m. start time from Shirk Stadium.
