READING, Pa. – Field Hockey (2-4) got back in the win column on Wednesday night downing Cedar Crest (2-5) 4-0 on their home turf.
Chelsea Johnson scored X times leading the Lions offensive attack. The four goals are the most in a game to date this season.
Tonight's win was the second in the last three games for the Lions and the first win of the season at home. Dating back to 2010, Albright has outscored Cedar Crest 29 to two including tonight's game. Last year,
Chelsea Johnson tied the school record for most goals in a game with four against Cedar Crest.

Catherine Wiese (Ostoich) on her team's strong performance tonight, "It was a great team win tonight. Nice to see them play as a group and support each other both on the offensive and defensive side of the field. It was also awesome to see Kelsey get another shutout!"
The first 15 minutes went by without a goal. Albright had their fare share of opportunities keeping pressure on the Cedar Crest back line.
The Lions tallied two goal in the second period to jump out to a 2-0 lead heading into halftime.
Aliza Langlois scored the Lions first goal of the game for Albright. With 1:18 left in the half Albright doubled their lead on a goal from
Chelsea Johnson. Assisting on the play was
Hannah Mitchell marking the first point and assist of the first-year Lions career.
Johnson tallied her second of the game off a penalty corner.
Lillian Tuffy was credited with the assist on the play. The third goal of the season for Johnson came just two minutes into the second half.
Before the third period came to an end,
Olivia Lorah scored an unassisted goal on a beautiful shot from the top of the key leaving the Cedar Crest goalie with little chance of making the save.
The final 15 minutes of the game saw no goals as Albright capped off the impressive shutout win, winning 4-0.
Albright out shot Cedar Crest 24-0 with 15 of those shots being on goal. The defensive unit of
Ryleigh Prinz,
Olivia Lorah Lillian Tuffy and
Amanda Smith did an excellent job of stifling any opportunity the Falcons had.
