READING, Pa.  – Albright College and the Albright athletic department have announced that STUNT is the newest varsity sport to be offered at Albright. The Lions will begin competing in STUNT in the 2025-26 year and STUNT is a spring sport.

With the addition of STUNT it brings Albright's intercollegiate offerings to 23. A search for the programs first head coach begins immediately. Any interested applicants are encouraged to apply here. 

"We are excited to announce the addition of STUNT as a varsity sport at Albright," said athletic director Rick Ferry. "STUNT is growing rapidly across the country, and we are thrilled to be adding the sport to Albright's intercollegiate athletics. We look forward to competing in STUNT as well as enhancing our Cheer and Dance teams."

STUNT is a new female sport that incorporates skills derived from cheerleading. It is an exciting head-to-head game between two teams who execute skill-based routines in various categories, including partner stunts, jumps & tumbling, pyramids, tosses and team routines.
