READING, Pa. – Men's Tennis picked up their second straight win on Tuesday afternoon topping Penn State Berks 7-0. The win improves the team to 3-1 in the fall and marks the second sweep of the season.
From 2016-2022, Albright went 0-5 over that span against Penn State Berks. Under the guidance of head coach
Miranda Brown, the team has turned it around against the Nittany Lions winning the last two head to head matches. Albright has outscored Penn State Berks the last two years 14-2.
Adam Good controlled play in number one singles winning 6-1, 6-2. The straight sets win is the second for Good this fall.
Xavier Vinson's match went three sets. Vinson won the first set 6-3 and dropped the second set 5-7. The third and final set went the way of Vinson finding an extra gear winning set number three 10-3.
Dylan Huha won 6-4, 6-1 in number four singles. Huha is now 3-1 in the fall season.
Gerardo Sanchez and
Nikolai Damman won by the same scoreline of 6-1, 6-1. Sanchez picked up his first win of the fall season while Damman moves to 3-0 overall.
Sean Peppiatt rounded out the Lions singles wins taking his match 6-1, 6-1. Peppiatt is 2-1 in the fall having won his last two matches.
Vinson and Damman won number two doubles 6-1 and Huha and Sanchez won number three doubles 6-0 to secure the Lions sweep.
