READING, Pa. – Field Hockey (3-12, 0-5 MAC Commonwealth) hosted the Widener Pride (9-6, 2-3 MAC Commonwealth) at home following a pair of road games. Through four quarters of play, the visiting Pride would wind up leaving with a 3-0 win over the Lions.
Prior to the start of the game, the team took time honor seniors
Keliah Santiago and
Rayven Muller for their contributions to the team and program over the years.
Muller played her senior day with plenty of passion and recorded a shot along with a creating a. number of strong offensive opportunities for her teammates throughout the game.
Following Muller's offensive lead were
McKena Cox and
Lillian Tuffy who contributed to the offensive gameplan with a number of shots of their own.
Mackenzie Bunn continues to impress in goal and picked up a new career high in saves with 15 for her fourth double digit save performance of the season.
