READING, Pa. – Field hockey (3-13, 0-6 MAC Commonwealth) is in the final week of their regular season concluding the season with two straight road games. The team visited Alvernia (7-11, 2-4 MAC Commonwealth) on Wednesday night and fell to the host Golden Wolves 4-0.
Alvernia scored three goals in the first half to take a 3-0 lead into halftime. The Golden Wolves scored their fourth goal of the game in the second half to propel them to a home win.
The Lions fared well offensively, having six total shots throughout the game.
Jessica Butz led the offense with two shots.
Albright was able to earn four penalty corners on the evening, doing a good job of getting in into Alvernia's final third.
Rounding out the Lion shots were

Rayven Muller,
Rebecca Geiger and
Lillian Tuffy who each tallied one shot.
Muller, Geiger and Tuffy all placed their shots on goal.
