READING, Pa. – Men's Soccer (5-7-4, 0-4-1 MAC Commonwealth) traveled to Maryland for a conference battle with the Hood Blazers (10-3-2, 3-1-1 MAC Commonwealth). Through 90 minutes of back-and-forth play, the Blazers would ultimately hold off the Lions in the form of a 2-1 win.
As a team the Lions combined for 13 total shots with
Jaylen Bains leading the offensive effort with three.
Also among the starters recording multiple shots were
Martin Ramsay and
Will Garnett who combined for four of their own.
After entering halftime with a 1-0 deficit,
Anthony Carabasi would breakthrough in the 67
th minute of play for his second goal of the season. Carabasi finished with two total shots off the bench.
The Blazers would later score the game's final goal in the 79
th minute of play to secure their third conference win of the season.
