FREDERICK. Md. – Women's soccer (2-13-2, 1-4 MAC Commonwealth) played their second of two straight road games on Saturday afternoon against Hood College (10-3-2, 3-1-1 MAC Commonwealth). Hood protected home field by winning today's game 2-0.
Hood scored one goal in each half to power them to victory. The Blazers first goal of the game came in the 12
th minute while their second tally came in the 86
th minute of play.
Albright concluded their week of Commonwealth matches at 1-1. On Wednesday of this past week the Lions beat Widener 1-0 on the road.
Brylie Jensen scored the game winning goal in the team's win.
As for today,
Daiveni Fisher recorded a game high four shots. She placed two of them on goal looking to solve the final line of the Hood defense.
Albright did a good job of limiting shots on goal from Hood. Hood finished with 11 shots total but only four of them were on frame.
Paisley Tornatore started in net for the Lions and recorded two saves.
Rounding out the shots today for the Lions was
Samantha Rosenberg who placed her shot on frame. Hood goalie ended the contest with three saves to preserve the clean sheet.
