READING, Pa. – Women's Soccer (2-14-2, 1-5 MAC Commonwealth) returned home after a pair of games on the road to host Eastern (9-4-4, 3-2-1 MAC Commonwealth). The match resulted in strong defensive performances from both sides as the Eagles would go on to win by a score of 1-0. 
 
Daiveni Fisher and 
Daleyney Herrera-Mingucha led the offensive effort for the Lions and each created a number of scoring chances for both them and their teammates. 
 
The lone goal for the Eagles would wind up coming in the 43
rd minute of play allowing the Eagles to take a 1-0 lead into halftime. 
 
Albright's defense would remain strong for the second half and keep the Eagles off the board for the remainder of the contest. 
Alexis Solt made four saves in net in addition to a number of clutch grabs and breakups keeping the Lions in the game until the final whistle. 
 
Ultimately, the Lions would not be able to capitalize against Eastern's defense and fell to the Eagles by the narrowest of margins.
