GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Women's tennis (2-2) played in their second match of the week on Saturday afternoon against Gettysburg (2-1). The Bullets of Gettysburg left with a 4-3 victory over the Lions.
Albright began the week with a 7-0 sweep over visiting Arcadia on Tuesday afternoon. The Lions have had 19 wins since the start of the 2024 fall season and of those 19 wins, 13 of them have been sweeps.
Today's double matches team point went to the Lions as the #2 and #3 pairings pulled out the win.
Elicia Aponte and
Alaina Smith won 6-2 and would later see
Nadia Margaritov and
Daniela Diez win 6-4.
Allison Horick won her 20
th straight match on Saturday afternoon battling back after a first set defeat. Horick found a new gear in the second and third sets winning both 6-2 to win the #3 singles match.
Margaritov moved to 4-0 in her Albright career after a straight sets win 6-0, 6-2 in #4 singles.

Albright and Susquehanna will square off on Thursday October 9 at 3:30 p.m. on the Albright Tennis Courts. The match was rescheduled from September 6.
