Women’s Lacrosse Falls to Lebanon Valley on Wednesday Afternoon

The Lions played in their first road game since March 5 on Wednesday afternoon at Lebanon Valley College. The Dutchmen took today’s contest 17-4 over the Lions.

ANNVILLE, Pa. – Women's lacrosse (3-6) went on the road on Wednesday afternoon paying a visit to Lebanon Valley (6-3) in a MAC Commonwealth Freedom crossover clash. The Dutchmen protected their home turf, winning 17-4.

Lebanon Valley scored 10 goals in the first half to take a 10-3 into intermission. The Dutchmen would then go on to close out the game at home in a battle of MAC member institutions.

Kayte Moist is coming off a record setting performance last time out against Kalamazoo. Moist set the new program record for goals in a game with 11 and tied the program record for points in a game with 12.

Today, Moist paced the Lions offense scoring twice and assisting once for a team high three points. Moist also added four draw controls.

Anna Bien scored the first goal of her Albright career this afternoon. The goal came just before halftime and was unassisted.

Bridgette Asher tallied the fourth goal for the Lions on the afternoon marking her 13th goal of the season. Asher is second on the team in scoring, giving the Lions a dynamic duo on attack with Moist.

Caelainn Morrison and Kaila Clark were each credited with a caused turnover in today's contest.

Albright will play their last non-conference game of the season on Saturday afternoon at Gwynedd Mercy. The game is set to begin at 1:00 p.m.
